Ultrafiltration uses hydrostatic pressure to force water through a semi-permeable membrane. The pore size is usually 103-106 Daltons. Ultrafiltration can utilize spiral membranes that utilize cross flow separation, hollow fiber membranes, or from the outside, in the use of a vacuum to purify water. The membranes remove very small particles, such as organisms resistant to chlorine, bacteria, organics, sediments, high molecular solutes and other suspended solids.

THE FILTRATION STAGES

1. Stage: 5 micron Sediment Filter 3 to 6 months.

The sediment filter has a high number of open micro-pores that allows a particularly efficient absorption of impurities throughout the surface. Through its improved structure it eliminates or reduces particles such as sand, silt, oxide particles and any impurity in the tap water suspension.

2. Stage. GAC: Activated Carbon Membrane Granular, 3 to 6 months

It eliminates or reduces volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), pesticides and herbicides, also chlorine, benzene, trihalomethanes (THM) compounds, radon, and solvents found in tap water.

3. Stage: CTO combined charcoal filter 3 to 6 months

The filter made of activated carbon powder, these have a very efficient absorption and get eliminate or reduce free particles of chlorine, solvents, perfumes, pesticides, inorganic substances, phenol, benzene, and organic impurities.

4. Step. UF: Uses very small pore membranes (below 0.1 micron). 1-2 years

5. Stages: Post Carbon 1years
